MARIACHI ESTRELLAS DE CHULA VISTA has won numerous awards and competitions including, the Grand Prize at the Albuquerque Mariachi Spectacular twice, the nation’s most prestigious competition, as well as First Place at Por Amor a Mi Tierra competition in Guadalajara.  Mariachi Estrellas de Chula Vista has been a featured group at festivals in Albuquerque, Santa Barbara, Calexico, Ensenada, Mexicali, Victorville, Guadalajara, Ajijic & Chapala (Jalisco) and Pozos (Gunajuato).
